Stephen Pierce's The Whole Truth
A Must Read Before You Start Your Home Based Online Business
The Whole Truth exposes the hype and false promises of so many internet marketers. He urges you to question
their claims, to look for proof, you are asked to look past the hype and do a reality check. He warns not to accept their claims of instant millionaire status, seemingly gained without effort.
The promises of the snake oil salesman are absent from this book, you are just given plain hard facts. He tells you of his struggles in the early stages, and how he solved so many of the problems he encountered.
At no stage will you ever be given the chance to question the credibility of this man, for everthing he writes about he backs up with proof. He has print-outs of his statements from Clickbank, lists of all the ebooks he bought, all the programs he joined, and all the software he has bought and tried.
He writes strictly from his own experience, you will not have the feeling when reading his book that you have read something similar someplace else.
The whole Truth offers the type of information you wish you had read before you had encountered the shark infested waters of the internet.Long before you find yourself drowning in a sea of non-information, swamped, and overwhelmed by the sheer volume of it all, long before your desktop looks like a war zone after all the ebooks you have downloaded and not had time to read.
You are strongly urged to follow your own light and be original in you thinking and output, not to regurgitate the words of others, particularly when you are unqualified to do so.
You are told to look within for ideas, to produce your own product, to get your head out of the clouds, get off your butt, and hoe to it. Reach for the stars, but keep your feet on the ground.
There are some markets he advises you to steer clear of, one of those being internet marketing because of the strong competition. However, further on in the book he writes about a lady by the name of Wendy, who opened a hamburger shop across the street from McDonalds, she was undeterred by the competition, she went where the demand was!
You could be forgiven for feeling intimidated by this man's knowledge, particularly if you are new to the scene, but you must remind yourself he didn't know it all at the beginning, he even duplicated someone's website, so don't give up, press on regardless.
He asks you to speak from your own experience when advertising other's products, otherwise you will lack credibility. You have to remind yourself that when he started he didn't know it all, so as long as you have tried and tested what you are advertising then that will suffice.
You are provided with many strategies for marketing your product, he stresses the importance of offering value to your subscribers, even to the point of giving freebies.
Everything points to originality, creativity, offering quality items, to cast your bread upon the waters, and it will come back cake.
He advises you to do some research at ClickBank for products in your category which are not yet listed, you could discover some very rewarding products and so manage to reap the benefits.
If you manage to locate some, or one of these precious as yet undiscovered products, these are the best to market. They offer a chance to get in at the ground floor level and establish yourself in the marketplace.
He puts paid to a lot of the claims about search engine positioning, and offers strategies he has used successfully. He writes at length about building quality link partnerships, to build targeted traffic to your site, this section of the book requires some serious study.
